Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join a well-respected medical facility in Waterford Connecticut. This role is essential in providing excellent service to patients and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient interactions and maintaining accurate records in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Conduct insurance verification to ensure patient coverage and streamline billing processes.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently to optimize clinic operations and patient satisfaction.
  • Enter patient information accurately into the EPIC system, maintaining confidentiality and precision.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate effective communication and patient care.
  • Assist in managing patient flow and addressing any inquiries or concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Previous medical reception experience is required.
  • Familiarity with the EPIC system is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday- 7.5 hours/day

Benefits

Competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
